          My name is Latisha Yvette Williams; I was born July 4, 1988. I was raised in Mount Vernon Al. My parents are Climmie and Valerie Creighton. I’m the olds of three. I also have a two year old daughter name Jalayah Jones who I love dearly.  I graduated from Satsuma High School in two thousand and seven. After high school I then attended Faulkner State Community College where I earned my associated degree in Early Childhood Education. Honestly, I never had the attentions of attending the University of South Alabama, but after having my daughter I couldn’t see myself leaving her behind, that’s when I decided on attending the University.

            I always knew that I would become a teacher someday, because of my passion for teaching and my love for kids. When I was a little girl my favorite game to play was school, and I always wanted to be the teacher, even when I had no one to play with, I would teach my stuff animals. Until this day I still love to teach, and my first student is my two year old daughter. My strong passion for teaching and the love I have for kids is what lead me into the Education field. However, during my free time I enjoy shopping, going out to dinner and spending time with my daughter.

Well, I hope you enjoyed reading my life story as much as I enjoyed writing it for you. As a soon to be teacher I encourage you to learn as much as possible during the time you’re in school, it will benefit you in your further.  Here is a tip you can live by or try to live by if you can think it, you can do it.

Dr. Pausch’s video

            During Dr. Pausch’s video he talked about how important it is to set goals in life, he also talked about failing to plan is planning to fail. My understanding of that is if you don’t make plans in life you’ll never succeed and I truly agree. In life it’s very important to make some type of plan to help you throughout your day. For example, you must have some type of plan to be successful in college. You have to come up with a plan to make sure your work is turned in on time in order to have a passing grade at the end of the semester. Having a plan can make things so much easier, if something come up you can always make changes to your plan, but in order to change you plan you have to first have a plan. Honestly, I’m very glad that this was our first assignment. This assignment teaches you on how to prepare yourself on becoming successful.
